C++ DEVELOPER (Mobile)
We are looking for an experienced engineer who can operate remotely and independently, maintaining two legacy titles that were developed in cocos2dx. These titles are not under active development currently and have limited part-time head-count assigned to them so the ideal candidate would need to take substantial ownership of these titles and communicate effectively with our client’s internal production team and studio leadership.

What we'd like from you:
  • Address some platform mandates and other issues that have arisen since these titles were under active development
  • Implement targeted opportunities with these titles such as cross-promotional features
  • Be prepared to work on different areas within projects, such as build systems, tools, graphics, UI or gameplay
  • Be able to diagnose issues and find solutions to them
  • Help to keep code quality, organization, and automatization
  • Optimize code in CPU, GPU and memory footprint
What we think you need to achieve this:
  • Strong proficiency on C++ coding, including C++ specific notions
  • Fair knowledge of the language specification, including C++ 11 or newer features
  • Experience on using standard library, containers and algorithms
  • Experience developing for iOS and Android
  • Experience on a shipped title
  • Experience with a game engine such as cocos2dx (ideally)
  • English: written, professional level
Nice-to-have:
  • Experience with a build system such as Jenkins
  • Experience with bash scripting
  • Proficient understanding of code versioning tools
  • Android Studio, Gradle build systems, and Java / JNI knowledge
  • Experience in other programming languages (JS/C#)
  • Experience with Xcode profiling tools
  • Familiarity with continuous integration systems
